Naming my magazine cover and Newspaper association

Most of the TV magazines I have researched each have fairly conventional names, being generic to this type of magazine i.e. 'Hot TV' 'TV Extra''Total TV Guide'. With this in mind, my own magazine cover will also replicate such conventions conforming to stereotypical titles, and ensuring that the name is clear to audiences and represents clear links to the type of magazine this will be. All of the names are short and to the point, therefore my own product will continue to mimic this conventional style. The title will be the biggest writing on the magazine cover, and will be placed in the top left hand corner of the page. Some of the names in mind: TV's Hottest Trend TV The Soaps Guide Hot on the Box Telly's hottest Mag TV Gossip To ensure I am making the best choice of title for my magazine cover, I asked the people in my class to write down their favourite name, which would then help me choose the best title that would appeal to audiences. From this most of my peers preferred the title : Hot on the Box- everyone of my sample choosing this as their favourite title. From this research I will then use this name as my magazine title. So as not to infringe on any copyright laws, I will make up my own newspaper name of which this magazine will be featured in, imagining that the brand of newspaper is popular amongst audiences, such as existing publications i.e. Daily Star. With this in mind associating my TV magazine to a 'well-known' newspaper will automatically broaden and branch out the target audience and those that will see the magazine, hopefully then giving the magazine, and the article on my soap opera trailer, a wider chance of audience variety. Another reason I have chosen to link my magazine to a newspaper is because many audiences don't tend to go out and buy newspaper magazines in today's society, therefore the offer of it being free with a newspaper would again reach audiences further, giving my soap opera a better chance of recognition and viewer interest. I shall name my newspaper, 'Daily Orbit'-this in keeping with the themes of 'star' and 'sun' as is popular for other newspaper names. The newspaper would be a national paper, therefore reaching audiences across the country, as well as those who can access the TV broadcasting channel my soap opera would air on 'IPV'.
